I call this the "secret park" since it is nestled in an out-of-the-way spot and is not listed on the city's website. The views are probably the best in Encinitas.
There are two parts to this park connected by a public pathway that traverses a private condo complex. I wonder how the city pulled that one off? From the southern part, you overlook Swami's beach and from the northern part, you can see Moonlight beach and up the coast as far as the haze will allow.
I don't recommend this park for toddlers since the park is situated on a cliff and it is possible that they could squeeze through the railings and fall to their death. Then they would probably close the park and build some more condos.
For the curious, the land immediately to the south is part of the Self Realization Fellowship (after which Swami's is named). They rather gaudy Tudor-style house is used for administrative purposes (yes, I asked). If you want a closer look, head on over the Fellowship and tour the excellent gardens.
